Biography

Like all good biographies, this one starts with the word 'like'. From there it goes downhill, with a few sentences of completely unrelated waffle, before finally getting to the biographical information. This sentence would be counted as one of those that contains completely unrelated waffle. Here is another example of waffle.

Despite the large array of good electronic music on offer today, I've always been unsatisfied with the tendency of most artists to label themselves in a particular genre, and be satisfied to mimic what has come before. I firmly believe that it is time for industrial music to take a stranglehold on the mainstream. It is my goal to bring the hardness of industrial, mix it with a palatable melodic and chordal structure, and confuse the hell out of the mass of unwashed yuppies and teeny boppers that are currently eating the crap shovelled to them by modern record labels.

Remaining true to the sound I hold close to my heart, and without selling out and becoming another homogenized product, it is my goal to completely revolutionize the electronic music scene, followed by popular music, and then the world.

When people hear my music, I want them to think 'Wow, THAT'S industrial!' Rather than conforming to the characteristics of a genre that was defined over a decade ago, it's time people realized that breaking the genre apart is the way to move forward.

My first (proper) album, Over the Under Thing, is in production, and will be coming out... at some point. It will be quite unlike anything you've heard before. Harsh, intense and full of wrath, but also delicate, beautiful and sorrowful. Distorted, metallic and complex, but also soft, organic and simple. It is the culmination of everything I'd written up to the point production started, and it is my vision for the future of music. It is not industrial as it has been, it is industrial as it will be.

In the meantime I've been working hard on some other music. I released some of it as the album Teenage Friday, which you can download and read about for free. I hope it tides you over till the first major release.

You'll all be hearing from me soon...
